So yeah guys the ipads out and although most of you might think its amazing its not >_>' dont get it, theres no camera, there's no CAMERA, omg thats beyond a waste: Apple fails, only up is the freaking library thing which isnt that great, basically its a huge itouch ._.

How to get started after jailbreak

After you jailbreak there are tons of things you can do but before that there are a few basic things you should so just to get started. First of you should download the cydia community sourcelist. Here you will get tons of things to download the most important and basic are -

How to install cracked apps ~

With P.C. - You can download the cracked .ipa files from this site 'http://appulo.us/appdb/", after the download go to itunes, choose that ipa file and add it or drag it to your library and then sync it with your ipod.

With Installous - First go to settings and put the install method to 'dirty' and then you can just browse through the apps and download them. The most accuratre links are the ones eith 'getappinfo'.

THEMES ~

There are already nice themes with the cydia community sources list but if u want more the best source is Sosiphone. Go to sources in cydia and then go to edit, then add and then write 'cy.sosiphone.com/'.

Ipod Touch 2g jailbreak guide

Now this is for those of you interested in jailbreak, I will now show you the methods on how to easily and efficiently jailbreak your ipod touch.

This is a fully untethered jailbreak process and you can download all of the software needed at this link 'http://eba420.com/downloads.html'. You probably already have itunes so just go and download all the software on the provided link. Install Quickfreedom and Lib USB and then go to thier properties and set compatibility for Windows XP (service pack 2). After that choose the firmware from the browse option and wait for quickfreedom to copy it. Then click next, check the box if you want to install installer. Then click create firmware, it may take up to 5 to 10 minutes depending on your pc's speed, after that you will see a custom software will be created. After that click next, connect your ipod and put it on DFU Mode (itunes will notice your ipod and tell you to restore it, leave it for now) and click 'start pre jailbreak' and you will see your ipod screen turn white. Now go to itunes and hold shift and click on restore, choose the custom software. After your ipods done restoring it will load up and you will see cydia on the home screen. FAQ

1)Why does Lib USB say its not installed even after I installed it?
- Check if u set the compatibility mode and even if it still doesn't but you got a silver screened pop up from it then you can continue.

2)How do you put your ipod into DFU mode?
- Hold the home and power buttons simultaneouslyfor 10 seconds, thenlet go of the power and hold the home button for 10 seconds, you should then see itunes detect your ipod.

Tips:

If you want to use cracked app I suggest not checking the box that confirms that itunes should start up everytime you plug your ipod in because it deletes all your apps, this option is for people with wifi (wireless internet). If you are interested in running your ipod without itunes you could try Copytrans and if you are interested in the full deal you could try touchcopy.

Ipod Touch 2g Jailbreak choice : Should it be done or not?

Hi, as you know there are currently alot of questions about jailbreking the ipod touch. Alot of people think that they shouldn't because it will mess up thier ipod and brick it. Others just like thier ipod as it is and trust in apple. Regardless let me tell u that it is impossible to mess up your ipod touch, even if you brick it you can still always restore it anf if anyone tells you otherwise, they seriously dont know what they are talking about. Let me tell you from my personal experience, yes my ipod has bricked on me once and yes i still use it because nothing happened all I had to do is just restore it by putting it into DFU mode (it basically wipes out all the memory of the ipod so its ready to be restored). Before posting the guide for jailbreak let me show you the advantages and disadvantages of Jailbreaking your ipod touch.

ADVANTAGES:

1) You get to download alot of themes for your ipod touch.
2) You get 'dTunes' which is a 'free itunes' store and allow you to download songs and torrents from various sites.
3) 'Mx Tube' allows you to download youtube videos directly to your ipod.
4) 'Searcher' allows you to search through you whole device with one tap.
5) 'Installer' app allows you to install different apps made by various people for various needs on your ipod.
6) 'Installous' allows you to apps on the itunes store for free (including the paid ones) and various other apps as well
7) Categories allows you to organize your icons in general and with themes and place them as you would want.

DISADVANTAGES:

1) If you let the charge on your ipod run out it might brick and you will have to restore it (I've only faced this after I installed the cracked or 'free' applications)
2) Itunes Cannot sync without deleting all your free 'apps'
3) Cracked apps used for online purposes such as TapTap revenge lose thier online multiplayer capabilities.
4) Ipod software version 3.0 jailbreak not out yet.


So these are possibly some of the possible advantages and disadvantages there are of jailbreaking it.
